Adrian was very professional and friendly. We had a few dog urine stains. Carpet came out great! What we liked the most was the carpet was dried in about 40 minutes. Adrian said it would dry in about an hour. Had to see it to believe it. Carpet looks great!!

Our experience with Adrian at Dream Clean has been a very uneven one. He was super responsive to our initial questions and his bid was a decent one. We hired him for hardwood floors which needed to have cleaning and polishing on the Wednesday prior to our first open house this weekend. He and another man started cleaning the living room, entry, and dining room. Because of the layout of our house, we had to go hang out in another room for what ended up being about 5 hours. When they left, our floors were still wet, so we decided to go to bed. The next morning we awoke to the shock of seeing our floors more dull than they were to begin with. We called him immediately. We had tons more cleaning to do to be ready to sell our home and to prepare for the open house on Sat and Sun. He came over alone around 4:30pm to see what the floors looked like. He agreed that they were terrible and said he needed to get the material they had used the previous evening off. He said he thought they had used the wrong finishing product. He worked on it until midnight, which was noisy and we continued to be stuck in 1 room of the house, unable to do anything to prepare for the weekend. In the morning, we awoke to find the stuff he’d stripped from the floors on the walls and baseboards which were newly painted. We could easily have touched up a few places on the walls and baseboards, but it became evident that ALL of the baseboards would now have to be washed and repainted, along with 12” swaths of the walls which had overspray of the stripper on them. All of the door bottoms, same thing. He came to “finish” stripping the “wrong product” that he hadn’t gotten off the previous evening. Instead, he left those areas unstripped and did not clean them up, but instead just applied the finish right over the top of those areas, which are now very apparent all around the edges of baseboards and in front of the bedrooms. He finished applying the lacquer, and when he was about to leave, I took a look around and suggested he return half of the fee he charged us. Initially, he agreed, but eventually sent us messages through Thumbtack, saying he had made it right. Meanwhile, we have had to go out and buy more paint and will be spending the evening repainting walls and baseboards. We had to hire people to move our furniture back in (a fee we had already given to him.) and the stager had to come back over, after we finished cleaning up the dust that was created, to get everything ready for the weekend, all over again. For these expenses alone, a refund of 1/2 of our bill was a reasonable thing to ask. We are now out of time and money out of pocket to correct his errors. To say that we cannot recommend him, is a great understatement. Had he reimbursed us 1/2 of the bill, I wouldn’t writing this review. Sadly, he is refusing to compensate us not only for materials and services we’ve had to pay for because of what he’s done, he also refused to refund the furniture moving fee, even though we had to move it out of the rain (it has been sitting in our backyard since Weds.), and eventually had to hire people to move it back into the house when floors were dry. We had to call the stager for our house so she could get everything back where it had been, a service we had to pay for. When we do sell the house, we are going to have to have someone else come in and make the floors right. They are shiny now, but it’s a very poor job and not the quality work we expected for the price. Steer clear of this business. Next step for us... court.
Dream Clean Carpet Cleaning's reply
As there is a brief break for the holidays, I would like to respond to this review. As shown by the picrures below, the results of the floor stripping and finish, were excellent. Customer was in a crunch for time as the house was being sold and the open house was in 4 days from our initial contact. (A previous contractor refused to do the job, saying it couldn’t be done, and canceled on them). From our conversation I could tell the customer was extremely stressed about the open house. Dream Clean did what we needed to do in the time frame to get the job done so the floors would look beautiful for their open house. The job consisted of 2 seperate types of flooring, that were in really bad shape. The only availability we had was for the following day at 4:00 pm. Job took 6 hours to strip, Clean, and put 3 coats of finish on the floors. I told the customer I would have to come back the next day to move the furniture back into the house, as the finish needed to dry properly before furniture could be returned. They said not to worry about coming back because the house still needed to be staged for the open house and they could have someone else return the furniture back. Job was complete. So I thought. I get a call the next morning that something had happened to one of the floors. She was very hysterical and cussing saying I needed to come out that instant and do something. I informed her that I will come out and take a look and fix if anything was wrong, I couldn’t come at that moment as I had just started a Terrazo job and would come as soon as I was finished. She screamed and cussed saying I needed to come right now. Again I told her I would come out as soon as I could and make everything right. I was trying to calm her down as I knew they were already under great stress for their open house and selling the house. I returned to their house about 1:00 pm (I needed to reschedule my afternoon jobs. I was fortunate that they were repeat customers and they understood). As I assessed the situation, there was an unforeseen problem with the way one of the floor from finish dried. Only way to correct was to strip the floor again. Which we proceeded to do. I told them we would make it right no matter what it took, as the process to remove newly applied finish is very difficult and time consuming. The floor was stripped and ready for finishing coats. To make sure the issue didn’t reoccur, made it very clear to customer that I wanted to really make sure the floor was dry before applying the coats of finish, so I would be back first thing in the morning to do so. And also do a post clean up. I was very clear on the remaining process for the next morning. 1. Apply the coats of finish. 2. Do the post clean up. Doing the post clean up last so the finish could dry ASAP. This was made very clear. I returned first thing the next morning to apply the finish. As I was finishing the corrected floor with the finish, they asked if I could apply another coat on the other flooring as they wanted it even more glossy than it already was. As soon as I finished that additional coat, they proceeded to tell me they thought I should refund them 1/2 or they would give me a poor review. I told them that wasn’t right that I corrected the problem and I still needed to do a post clean up. She still insisted for 1/2 returned or threatened with a poor review. Again I said I made sure the issue was corrected and floors look great! She then said your work is done and will leave a poor review. So I left. Dream Clean places an importance of making every interaction with our customers a positive experience and did everything we could to make that happen. It was unfortunate and unforeseen these issues occurred. Again, the floors came out beautiful for the open house and sale. The house was sold in 30 days for top dollar!

Everything went as planned with Dream Clean. The work was done in a commercial building, and Adrian worked with us regarding scheduling etc.. He made it very easy to decide to use him again. Which we have already done since. He'll clean our floors, at our company from now on !
