Introduction: As a Construction Manager I act as a client advocate. This differs from General Contracting in that services are provided as a fee rather than a percentage on top of costs. Which can compound quickly and causes misaligned intensives between Contractor and Customer. I love nothing more than to help clients define their ideas, bring them into reality, help them to create a budget that they can stick to, help the subcontractors with the bidding and building process, and have everyone complete the project with the best possible results and walk away as friends.
