Tim Jewett’s high level of professionalism and attitude of problem solving when painting the exterior of my home without sacrificing quality puts him at the top of my list. Tim accepted the job to paint the exterior of my 1928 Del Mar home regardless of the extreme challenge caused by a previous contractor who did not complete construction repairs as agreed. Tim was instrumental in employing a general contractor to mend my prior contractor’s incomplete and inadequate work. Tim and his team were very respectful of my home and property. Mr. Jewett called me within two hours and met with me the next day exactly when he said he’d be here. He sized up the job and gave me an estimate that was about what I expected. What I didn’t expect was him starting the job two days later, doing a marvelous job of power washing, scraping, chipping, sanding, and priming—after doing some fascia and soffit repair. He also found a carpenter for me to repair a few things in the house, and he did a superior job at a fair price. Then came two coats of paint that costs $58 per gallon. He could have lowballed me on the paint, but he didn’t. He also did a little bit of painting inside and didn’t charge me for it. I like that he’s very meticulous and he does it all himself. I’ve already recommended him to my neighbors!
