What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
A one hour sessions is $75 and a 90 minute massage is $100.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
New clients are welcome to schedule their appointments in a way that works best for them: via my online website, by phone, text, or email. Arriving 10 minutes early to complete their initial health intake form is encouraged. That way, the client gets more time on the massage table. Another option is to print a form (from my sacredtempos.massagetherapy.com website), fill it out at home and then bring to your appointment.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a graduate of the Oregon School of Massage, with over 20 years of training in Dancemeditation, which is to say, I've been committed to healing and an embodied spiritual path for a long time. I've also studied Aroma Acupoint Therapy with Peter Holmes and Tiffany Pollard of Snow Lotus Aromatherapy. I am passionate about the subtle and profound healing properties of essential oils and continue to learn more everyday. While in massage school, I studied with Gayle MacDonald on how to give massage to people living with cancer. Gayle has written a book on the subject, is somewhat a guru in the field, having worked at OHSU for over 20 years. In my current massage practice, I offer Swedish, Shiatsu, and Reiki.
