Introduction: Over the years, I have taught students how to connect with audiences which increased their confidence and overall public speaking abilities. I could do the same for you. Everyone has their own unique and authentic voice, but often they don’t know what it is or how to use it in their presentations. That leads to a lack of confidence and audience connection. I help students develop their own authentic presentation style that in turn increases their confidence and connections with the audience. I give them the tools to deliver an impactful presentation that gets great results. I'm a college professor who has a passion for all things public speaking. I have helped over a hundred students and business colleagues increase their confidence, development their presentation skills and take their public speaking skills to the next level. I'm here now to do the same with you. For long as I can remember I have loved listening to good public speakers. I liken it to those who like to listen to fine music and can recognize and appreciate each beautiful note. I have been studying public speaking for over 20 years and have found the secret to help others get become confident, skillful public speakers.

It's not that I don't like public speaking, or that I do like it, it's that I lack confidence in doing something that is not a constant, practiced part of my daily life. Enter Robin. Kind, supportive and forever positive. Robin has helped me with a few high-profile presentations to large annual conferences, and to smaller regional gatherings. We have worked on timing, tone, modulation, message~even tweaking the written word as it took on the spoken form. Robin's suggestions were specific, spot-on, and always presented as a generous invitation to step out of the habitual, and into the creative. Her enthusiasm for public speaking which she so obviously adores is contagious. In the end, I felt confident and relaxed~ still a bit nervous, but in a way that encourages, rather than thwarts. My presentations were a hit, and not just because I felt good about the outcome. Conference attendees came up to me afterward to tell me the presentation was all a presentation should be~passionate, articulate, concise, well-researched and inspiring. What is the point of public speaking if not to well share our passions and inspire others? Robin is an incredible public speaking coach. She’s extremely supportive and has a gift when it comes to helping you prepare for a speaking engagement. My lessons are customized to your particular interest because everyone is different. My prices depend on your level of experience and the results you want to achieve. The average per session rate is $50-$100.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My process begins with getting information about the new customer's experience with public speaking and the goals they want to achieve. I help them build on whatever level of skill and confidence they have.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have studied public speaking in various forms and formats for over 20 years. Along the way, I also earned a master degree and a Ph.D. both of which allowed me to continue my study of public speaking alongside other academic disciplines.
