Joseph’s wonderfully personable attitude in the studio is rivaled by his staggering degree of professionalism. Possessing a genuine understanding of the artist’s vision, his confidence bolsters a focused work experience. -Steve (Lost Puppy)Dec 5, 2018
I've worked with Joseph on two of my releases, and frankly, this dude has it ALL. He's extremely patient and respectful, will always explain ideas/details and production jargon, is super candid about everything, methodical (really follows a step-by-step approach very closely), trustworthy and incredible punctual with deadlines (he usually even overestimates the time he needs), oh and his product is incredibly professional. Another strength of his? He's wildly resourceful. He's connected with a big variety of musicians & mastering engineers, and isn't afraid to make new connections for a project on the spot - he did for me (several times in both of the releases we did together). He's so incredibly easy to work with and reasonable, there's no reason not to work with him. Honestly. I trust him with all of it - the two projects he's worked on with me are "this" and "Barely Strangers." Have a listen and see why he's the obvious choice for whatever you've got slated next.Dec 3, 2018
Joseph is one of the musicians I have had the pleasure of working with during my time in Los Angeles. He is the real deal. When you work with Joe you are not only getting a professional musician, but you get someone with incredible time management, vision, and interpersonal skills. Joe is totally invested in every project he is involved with. He treats your “baby” like it’s his own.Dec 3, 2018
Working with Joseph was such fun, efficient, and productive experience! Not only does he have the skills and professionalism, but he works hard to understand your vision. What I liked most about working with him was the fact that he has the passion and creative talent to bring your project to life rather treating it like any other job or client - something that definitely sets him apart from the rest!Dec 3, 2018
From start to finish, the process of recording with Joseph was inspiring, focused, and most importantly, fun. Not only is he profoundly attentive to detail, workflow, and the vision of the artist, Joseph is also a pure joy to work with and his passion is infectious. We had a tight timeline for my EP and he was prepared for each session and went the extra mile at every opportunity, often working past our allotted time to nail the project. If you are looking for a talented, capable, and efficient collaborator - this is your guy.Dec 1, 2018

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? For larger projects, like full production for an EP or a full-length, I offer my clients flat-project rates. Based on the needs of the project, production goals, timeline, and desired budget, I work with the artist to come up with a number that's fair and that both parties feel good about. I work with artists with a wide range of budgets, reach out and start a conversation if you're interested in working with me. For hourly work, like for a vocal tracking session, I charge an hourly rate starting at $30/hr.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I'll typically look to book a complimentary studio tour and a consultation session with the new customer. This will give the artist and me and opportunity to talk about the project and decide if I'd be a good fit for the project. From there we can negotiate rates and begin to build a production plan. For hourly work I ask to schedule a phone call to discuss the project before booking.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I am a lifelong musician and producer who's learned on site and by working on countless albums across all genres. I got my start engineering at my college's radio station in Boston, MA. I've toured nationally as a drummer, I front my own band in LA, and I work part-time at Hotel Cafe in Hollywood running FOH.
