Introduction: So in 2013, I started Amy Moss Photography and began specializing in on-location, natural light photography of Newborns, Kids, Animals, Teen Senior Portraits, Maternity, family Portrait & Weddings. My goal was not to just take photographs -- I wanted create a little more joy in this big ol' world. I take the time to edit every single picture. To pour loveland creativity to every last image.
For me, its far more important to talk about WHY I am a photographer as to opposed to WHAT I do because it gives you a glimpse into the bigger picture.
One thing that lies at the bottom of everything that I do: I love making people happy. Since I was a little girl, I always sought out to bring out smiles and the laughs and to really SEE the true and unique person in front of me.
I finally realized my TRUE passion at age 27, 2 kids later, half way mark of college and already 3 years in, my passion was ART. I had always loved art since I was a little girl but had never considered it a career path. I began to refinish furniture as a fluke and the creative freedom and the feeling of accomplishment was almost addicting. It started me on a path of art exploration as my career path. I quickly learned that art was for me! I began my art journey drawing portrait of others. I LOVE the joy behind portraits.
After a year into the art exploration I purchased my first DSLR camera. After taking picture after picture of my children I FELL IN LOVE! I became addicted to taking picture especially of kids.
The equation was simple:
ART + KIDS = HAPPINESS
So in 2013, I started Amy Moss Photography and began specializing in on-location, natural light photography of Newborns, Kids, Animals, Teen Senior Portraits, Maternity, family Portrait & Weddings. My goal was not to just take photographs -- I wanted create a little more joy in this big ol' world.
Through my work, my hope is that when you look at the pictures on your walls, go through your family albums, or share your greeting cards, that you smile, your friends smile, and your hearts and heads are filled with that warm-fuzzy feeling that send you through your day with an extra little kick in your step.
I want to capture your family just as they are, with all of their quirks, curiosity, and expressions. I won't leave until I feel that I've gotten a set of stunning images that will make your heart sing and put a smile on your face.
