- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I tell potential clients to send me pictures of, or discuss makeup looks and hairstyles they want and go over skin and hair type. If it is a photo shoot, I will reach out to the photographer and introduce myself beforehand to collaborate and better serve the client. For brides, I usually schedule a bridal trial at a discounted rate to coincide with a bridal shower, or other pre-wedding event.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received my MUA certification and extended courses through Glam Lam Academy in Los Angeles and the Mario Dedivanovic Master Class, a high profile celebrity MUA, for further film, photography and red carpet celebrity makeup application and education.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have a background in corporate product development and target marketing in cosmetics and have worked for two major cosmetics companies in DFW on the corporate side before deciding to branch out into my own skin care line and makeup artistry services. In other words...I know beauty, in and out!
