Introduction: Deciding to seek help is the first, most audacious step in the road to recovery. Congratulations! It is my pleasure to work with clients and families struggling with mental health issues, substance abuse, self-worth, relationship issues, and more. Together, we will discuss ways to increase insight and awareness for you to become more engaged in your own life.
I create a non-judgmental, safe, solution-focused environment with a sense of humor utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques, customizing them to meet the needs of each client.
I have worked in an inpatient and outpatient 30-60 day substance abuse/dual diagnosis rehabilitation center, with inpatient pediatrics, Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient youth and adults, nursing home, Independent School District Youth and Family Center, and with individuals with intellectual disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorders.
Conveniently located in Far North Dallas on the Dallas North Toll Road near the President George Bush Turnpike, close to Addison, Carrollton, The Colony, and Plano.
You are a strong, capable individual who has already decided it is time to pursue help. Dealing with the pressures of day to day life can be overwhelming, and the decision to take back control in your own life can be met with excitement and, of course, fear. I specialize in working with individuals and families struggling with mental health and addiction issues, including depression, anxiety, career issues and relationship problems.
Feeling apprehensive and sorrowful can change the way you view your daily life. I am available to come alongside you utilizing evidence-based practices and encouragement to increase insight and awareness into your own life so you can once again take control of the wheel and feel empowered to work toward happiness and fulfillment.
