FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I maintain a fee schedule based on the length of the engagement. Some engagements are a one-time only consultation for 1-2 hours, which has a higher professional fee than a 3 or 6 month engagement, for example.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to have a 20-minute call with a prospective client to get a feel for who he/she is, their goals, and their expectations. He/she can ask me any question to help guide in the engagement decision. I encourage the prospective client to check out my LinkedIn profile to gain additional perspective on my background and how I have previously helped professionals. The prospective client is under no obligation and there is no cost for the call. The prospective client is at a crossroads and should have the opportunity to discuss his/her situation with a consultant before making the decision to hire or not.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My formal education consists of a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics with a minor in Finance. I earned a Master of Science degree in Healthcare Administration. In terms of professional certifications, I am a Fellow in the Association of Healthcare Philanthropy (one of approximately 200 globally), a Certified Fundraising Executive, and a Certified Professional Coach. With regards to additional training, I am a Six Sigma Greenbelt, which allows me to cross functions and industries to achieve greater productivity, both professional and personal.
