- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
One-of-a-Kind Faux Finishing is owned and operated by Robert Mann. Based out of Dallas, TX, we offer services in the surrounding Metroplex. Robert Mann began his refinement of skills in the early 90’s, traveling throughout Europe exploring different techniques. He holds Bachelor's Degrees in Business and Administration, majoring in Finance, as well as a Degree in Art. One of a Kind Faux Finishing by Robert Mann is a member of IDAL (The International Decorative Artisans League). It is an international non-profit organization dedicated to building a strong community for muralists, faux finishers, stencilers and related areas of decorative finishing through education, advocacy and recognition of industry excellence. Has trained under Polish Master Artist Jacek Prowinski, French Master Artist Pierre Finkelstein, Italian Master Artist Nicola Vigini and President and founder of Faux Effects Raymond Sandor. After more than 16 years in business, the company portfolio has expanded considerably and has many satisfied customers. The company's work was included in Faux Effect Magazine featuring a customized suite at Lone Star Park. One-of-a-Kind Faux Finishing is a member of the Better Business Bureau and holds an A+ Rating.
