I have booked three trips with Fred Avery so far and they were all GREAT! We went to Italy (Venice, Florence, and Rome) in 2015, Barcelona in 2016, and just returned from a Sandals vacation in March 2017. Fred does a great job of planning every step, setting us up with great accomodations where we would like them. Trips include flights, accomodations, all tranfers, travel insurance, etc. Never need to be concerned with "covering" all our bases because Fred does that for us! He listens to what we want and does a great job of delivering that. On all of our trips, he has DELIVERED! They have all been great! We have booked a trip with him to Amsterdam, Paris, and London this coming summer and he got us a great deal and great flights! I would HIGHLY recommend him for your vacation travels! I have used Fred Avery at Superior Cruise & Travel for 3 overseas vacations, and recommend him without reservation. No matter what itinerary, budget, destination, excursions, or expectation I have, Fred has exceeded my goals. If glitches occur, and glitches will occur, no matter how well planned a trip may be, Fred has been available to immediately get a fix in for me. One transportation company did not live up to Superior's standards, and Fred was able to get my money refunded from the company. The hotels, the excursions, the transfers, the flights: everything is planned with my travel group in mind. I have traveled with my two older sisters, so Fred made sure we had a scaled down activity level. I've traveled with 2 of my children and their children of various ages. Again, excursions and itinerary are planned with the group's needs in mind. I'm taking another trip this fall and have placed all of my travel plans in Fred's hands again. And I know the trip will be fantastic!

My first trip to Europe with family members. I had tried a couple of other travel agencies I found through Google - one was non-responsive to several calls and emails, the other was simply inept. I kept googling but this time, paying attention to reviews. This is what happened within a 24-hour time frame: My first email to Superior Cruise & Travel; Fred Avery contacted me by phone, I relayed the 4 countries we wanted to visit and our list of must-sees for a 2-week adventure; Fred emailed me a tentative itinerary for the entire trip, complete with our must-sees, hotel reservations, tickets to events, air and train bookings, etc. AMAZING! I think we changed only 1 or 2 things on his itinerary. I talked to Fred quite a few times in the months prior to our trip. He shared personal travel experiences and recommendations and answered ALL of my MANY questions! He is exceptional and our trip in September, 2017, was perfect - we made every connection in Ireland, Scotland, England and France and loved every minute!! We have already referred a friend to Fred Avery and we will be using him always for any future travel needs!!

We worked with Fred Avery and he was very congenital, prompt and professional. We spent a month in Germany and all reservations were as requested and expected and the accommodations were great EXCEPT for our time in Dresden. Fred booked an Elbe River boat tour for us which turned out to be a real problem. The boat tour never happened and we spent most of one day trying to get the problem resolved. Fred was in communication with us but eventually Fred found out that the tour boat company was what I would call a "scam" company. Superior did refund the cost of the boat tour but we spent most of one day dealing with the "scam" when we could have enjoyed more of what Dresden had to offer. Special Note! There is a legitimate Elbe Boat tour company located at Pier #3 and they tried to help us resolve the problem. We had great accommodations, had a great time and would use Superior and Fred again for the next trip. We would rate them higher than 4 stars if 4 & 3/4 stars were available but we had (in the grand scheme of things) a relatively small problem so a 5 star rating is out. Mike and Verna Ehinger

Our agency charges no fee's to our clients we get paid directly by our vendors for bringing the business to them.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When dealing with new customers I like to speak with them in order to find out their exact wants and needs for their vacation. I give them my suggestions and recommendations if they ask and use my experience to give them the ideal vacation location.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am certified Travel Agent registered with IATA, CLIA and ARC I have been planning vacations for 20+ years and have traveled to most places around the world. I specialize in Europe, Hawaii, Tahiti, Honeymoons, Cruises, Caribbean, Disney, Alaska & River Cruises.
