Introduction: I have been performing as a harpist for weddings, receptions, cocktail parties, teas, dinner parties, grand openings, funerals and other events in the Dallas/Fort Worth area for over 30 years. My huge repertoire includes classical, popular, sacred, ethnic and holiday music. I'm also a classically trained singer who is happy to add vocals for no extra charge. I love the effect that harp music has on people. Not only is the sound of the harp beautiful, but it is relaxing as well. The harp is a surprisingly versatile instrument and I enjoy surprising people by playing songs they don't expect, such as "Sweet Child of Mine" by Guns 'n Roses!

Laurel's harp artistry added the most beautiful background for our son's wedding! If I could give six stars I would! She was AMAZING! The music was gorgeous, she even wore a dress the same color as the bridesmaids! She arrived early and stayed late! She responded immediately and was an absolutely delight to work with!

Sadly it only let me select 3 qualities for Laurel, if I could have selected more, I’d have Picked them all!!! I reached out to Laurel looking for last minute finishing touches for my wedding and buy did she ever come through! I think we set things up within 48 hours or less of the wedding! Everything she played sounded beautiful, the poor thing had to move her harp downstairs at the venue, and I feel guilty for not being able to help her out with that process…weddings are hectic and laurel can definitely take a big part of your burden (music) and make it all sound beautiful!!! All of our guests and the venue staff loved her, some folks were ready to break out lighters when she played sweet child of mine 😂

I hired Laurel as a harpist for my wedding ceremony. We wanted to hire all small business owners for our wedding vendors and Laurel was good. She showed up on time and played for our wedding ceremony. It was an outdoor wedding (Dallas Arboretum) so it was hard to find musicians who would fit in a remote, garden setting. A harp was perfect for the setting and Laurel did well.
