FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
In general, I charge $35 an hour within Austin city limits. Outside of Austin, there will be an additional charge to pay for gas/mileage. If you are a student or military, I can offer a discount. If you need more than an hour, I am flexible on that as well, and we can discuss payment.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to have a "meet and greet" of sorts (can be done in person or over video chat) to talk and figure out what your needs are and how I can best meet them. Here we set up a schedule and game plan for our next steps in the process. At the first lesson, I like to go over basic dance steps that we will be using and see where the client is at in skill level. From here I am able to quickly and efficiently teach the rest of the dance lessons.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have taken dance classes since I was three years old, focusing in contemporary, jazz, and hip-hop. On top of this, I have taken many classes in ballroom, bollywood, and tap. I also had the privilege of taking classes with Natasha Davison at The University of Texas at Austin that trained me in musical theatre dance. I worked as a co-choreographer in my hometown training under Mandy Dudik, and became a solo choreographer and a trainer here in Austin.
