Introduction: INNERGY Tennis Academy takes a life-skills-first approach to teaching. While we specialize in high performance players, we love working with beginners and intermediates just as much! All our students are privvy to the same training system as our top athletes and the results are just as profound! Eventually everyone becomes a professional in something. Whether you become a professional tennis player, a doctor, an entrepreneur, a graphic artist, or something else, the life skills required to be successful are universal. Similar to the old adage, "if you teach a man to fish, he will eat for the rest of his life", we believe that if you teach people the tools to be successful, they will use them to find success for the rest of their lives. And the results our students experience regularly proves that this approach truly works. Our mission statement: We foster purposeful individuals who rise to face challenges within themselves and the greater community by becoming world-class tennis players, responsible citizens, and principled leaders. As a kid, I was blessed to work with some of the greatest coaches in tennis history. Each of them hugely impacted the trajectory of my life and afforded me the life skills I needed to get to where I am. Now the roles have changed and I have accepted the honor of passing on that knowledge and inspiration to others in a safe, encouraging environment.

We are very fortunate to have found Innergy Tennis Academy for our daughter. Michael, its founder, brings outstanding passion and dedication to his classes, something I have not seen elsewhere. He is extremely caring and thoughtful when dealing with kids and is flexible with his methods to take into account kids' different mindsets. He does not impose one way or his way of learning technical skills, rather seeks what works best for an individual and gets the best results. In doing so, he is not afraid to think outside the box. One thing I find unique about Innergy is that the coaches help kids understand the technical aspects of tennis in a simple way, i.e. incorporate examples that kids can relate to in their day-to-day life, making it easier for them to learn, remember, and apply. Under Michael's leadership, the academy is teaching kids the value of discipline, hard work, positive thinking, and a growth mindset that I believe will hold them in good stead in tennis as well as life in general.

Our son has trained with Michael for the last 5 years and our experience with Michael has been amazing. He really cares about the player, he tailored the training based on our son's goals, abilities, and opportunities. He is always there when our son needs to talk to him through the many highs and lows that is the tennis journey. Michael has always been very supportive and encouraging no matter what the circumstances. He has been a valuable member of our son's tennis journey and we are grateful to have our son working with him.

Instructor puts a great deal of effort into each lesson. Good balance of hitting and advice, supplemented with video analysis.
