Scott and his guys did a great job in building our photobooths and a custom turntable. We will definitely call them again when we need a good carpenter who cares about the quality of their work.Mar 30, 2017Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? The bidding process is very complex with numerous variables. I get request to do everything from replacing a simple closet door to designing, fabricating, finishing and installing 25 foot castle beds. People I work for have a budget ranging from $250 to $50,000. But with my lengthy and extensive background, I do have numerous platforms and pricing structures to accurately assemble an estimate. I always try to find ways to bring a great value to my customers and offer as many pricing options as possible to them. No matter what value we come up with to suit a customers needs, we always maintain and apply the same rule...that is, we don't let any project leave our care with out it being well thought out and exceeding expectations.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Of coarse meeting the client, taking pictures, measurements and detailed notes about the project. Then I breakdown the project in my office and try to tailor reasonable budget for the project at hand.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have a very extensive back ground in carpentry, cabinetry and complex millwork packages. My background includes everything from simple door and trim projects, to the design, fabrication, finish and installation of high end built in cabinetry and millwork projects in Oakland County. I also have a vast back ground in installing complex millwork packages for large millwork companies. These projects typically took place in high end boutiques suck as Tiffany& Co., Louis Vuitton, St John Knits, Nordstrom, just to name a few. This portion of my career has taking me everywhere from Boston to Honolulu and almost 400 cities in between. Along the way I've had the pleasure of working with some of the most talented carpenters, woodworkers, cabinet makers, artist, designers, and architects in the country. But my experience locally here in Michigan has been just as rich.
