We started with Chip (Robert Mues) back in 2008 in an attempt to obtain custody of my then 5 year old daughter. GAL report was solid, but due to her age we just weren’t able to get the custody change at that time. We did at that time get a shared parenting agreement that was very strong for us especially being that we live nearly 500 miles away. Over the last 9 years as my daughter has grown older and her desire to be here with her family in NC increased we again pursued custody. Chip being very familiar with our case over the years gave us the direction and guidance we needed to get the process started. We had another GAL report that came back even stronger than before, and we have my daughter who is now 13 years old with a desire to be with her father! Chip was very positive with us throughout the whole process. The day of trial, we met with Chip prior to the hearing. That meeting lasted about an hour, most of which involved he and the other attorney discussing back and forth and ended when Chip came back into the room telling us we are taking my daughter home!! No trial needed! Chip is very knowledgeable, personable and passionate! He has since followed up with us to see how things are going for our family! Thanks again!

I believe that my case was very unique, rare and extremely difficult for our child. Chip and Bill brought me the best outcome I could ask for, which really protected the life of our child. They are my heroes !!
