We did a large remodeling project to update bedrooms and a hallway. As part of this project we wanted to update our very old and dated wood banister and steps. We wanted to replace the hand rail, posts, spindles and add wood end caps to the steps before having new carpet laid. This part of our project turned into a challenge, we had bids from 3 different companies and then never heard from them again. It was a fairly small yet labor intensive project. Jeff came in and gave us a very fair bid and also had great ideas on how to complete the project. He was also able to work with our schedule on having carpet laid. Jeff was very professional and does high quality work, a true craftsman that takes pride in his work. I am happy to recommend him for any project no matter how small or large.

I contacted Jeff after a previous attempt to install a mantel over my fireplace went awry. Jeff came in and asked all the right questions. He took the time to find out exactly what we wanted, let us know he could salvage the existing wood, and then provided excellent communication skills leading up to the job. He continually made sure we were happy with the design along the way. The attention to detail and craftsmanship is evident in the mantel. We are extremely happy with Jeff and will be using him again in the future!!! Awesome Job!!!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I usually figure the time the project will take and figure the estimate accordingly with regard to the going rates in the area.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get to know a new customer on a certain level and help them feel comfortable. All of my work is usually in occupied homes and I try always to reassure the homeowners of the tasks that are taking place and how they will be accomplished. I like to keep a cleanly environment as much as I can and I try to work around they're schedule as much as possible.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a graduate and I have 15 years of experience in new construction and 8 years with my business in very high end homes. This has led me to be the very passionate Carpenter that I am today.
