FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes I charge $50 an hour but this is a flat rate for every day. There has been times on a Sunday when an emergency happened and some companies will charge up to $300 just to show up. I'm not doing this to become rich. I just want to support my family doing what I know how. There are a lot of hard working people in the world like me who can't afford to shell out $300 just for someone to look at something that's an emergency. I'm here to try to help those people.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Find out as much as I can over the phone and think of every possibly that I could run into. I come the first time prepared for anything and everything so I can get started and get the job done right, and as fast as possible without running all over town for parts and supplies. Once I'm there I'll assess the work to be done, explain the process to the customer so they are aware and evolved the the whole thing and agree on the total price, so neither part is blindsided at the end.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I worked for 4 years doing carpentry and left that to go to the state. Have been working for the state for 11, the last 7 I'm have been working in plumbing.
