I met Judy Proctor before we lived in Florida permanently. She was recommended by the friend. I hired her to update my large townhouse in St. Paul. Minnesota. She was very easy to work with. Her design talent and communication ability got the job done. She also designed our condo in Boca Raton. After discussing what we wanted she presented us with a full scale design plan. She was able to understand what we wanted and was even able to give us a broader vision. Her design ability and knowledge of color and form brought us a home that we were thrilled with. I was very impressed by her warmth and professionalism during the entire process. I will hire her again. Anyone seeking a designer could not find a more talented person.

I live in a very small house. It appears larger because the living room, dining area and kitchen are open with a good view of the yard. However, it is only 1,000 square feet and that includes three bedrooms and one bath! Making that space efficient and attractive was a real challenge. Judy created a beautiful space in which I can entertain up to 12 with enough seating in spite of the limited space. She encouraged me to use family heirlooms, and to help me keep the cost down, find bargains at the Consignment shop. Her overall approach enabled me to only need a few new pieces to upgrade the look of it all. Everyone who enters my home makes a comment on how warm and inviting it is. They are amazed how she did it. She is a pleasure to work with and puts her all into every detail. I would recommend her to anyone. Thank you Judy.

Judy helped design my living room and TV room when I moved into my new home. I found her knowledge of utilizing the space with my original furniture absolutely amazing. Judy did a fantastic job of designing our cafe, lobby and bookstore. She is able to see what is not there, take everybody's input (contradictory and not an easy bunch to deal with), and created a vision that makes everyone who sees it, say "Wow!" I purchased a 40 year old condo knowing that I would have to fully renovate the kitchen and bathrooms. I engaged the services of Judy Proctor (Eye of the Designer) and her team. Initial Consultation with the homeowner or company. Get to know what the client is looking for and their expectations.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Vesper George School of Art, Boston, and NY School of Interior Design Originally worked as a designer for a retail store in NY. Then joined 7 other designers at another retail store in Connecticut. Started my own firm in Boston and after many years moved to Florida where I have resided for the past 19 years. I have worked in both the residential and commercial fields with private customers in their homes and businesses.
