I hired Neto Painter for the demo and new installation of bath floor tile (approx. 35 s.f.) and wall tile around tub surround (approx. 75 s.f.). I provided all the materials and paid him for labor only ($1,200). He assured me that he did quality tile work. The demo and installation of floor tile went well and without incident. Although the tile install of the back wall around tub surround was not ideal, it was acceptable. I was present when all this work was being done. However, the tile installation of the two end walls around tub surround was terrible. Some tiles were sticking out further than others (not level), the tile spacing (grout lines) were totally inconsistent. I was not present when this work was done and complained about the poor work when I returned later that day. He said he would fix the problems, which he may have attempted, but it didn't fix anything. Due to the poor work, I asked him to at least reimburse me for the materials that it will cost me to have the tub surround replaced. He said that he would need to see what it would cost him and get back to me. I gave him a couple of days to get back to me and he never did. Now it's going to cost me an addtional $400-$500 in new materials and $1,000-$1,200 in labor just to re-do the surround of tub.

Our bathroom needed some major work, and I was lucky enough to have found Neto. He came through on the job very well, did all the work he promised, and took care of my project as if it were his own, on time and on budget. Thank you, Neto, for a job well done!!
