John Richy is a self-proclaimed "nomad". He enjoys packing up his F-150, grabbing his camera and dog, Yeti, and going wherever life is taking him. ​ Sometimes it's a baseball game, other times it's hiking Norwegian fjords or fishing the peaceful rivers of Colorado. No matter where life takes him, his mind is always framing a shot. ​ John is also a people-person. What drew him to photography is its ability to tell someone's story. He enjoys interacting with clients and getting them to laugh, relax, and have fun. Some photographers don't like family or group photographs. They are a bit challenging, but John is up to the task. Nobody handles a crying baby, runaway toddler, and frustrated parents better than John.
