Introduction: Dr. Vigran has had over 14 years of professional teaching experience in CA, NY and TX. He has taught as a University Professor, Graduate Teaching Assistant and Music Instructor at various professional music schools. His students have won competitions and received high marks in statewide evaluations.
Dr. Vigran is the founder of Off the Grid Music Studio, which specializes in recording and videography for classical and jazz musicians in the DFW Metroplex. His recent musical activity can be seen on his YouTube channel and various social media @Josh.V.Music
In addition, he has also worked extensively in jazz, pop, and rock music.
Lessons can take place at Off the Grid Music Studio in Lake Dallas, via Zoom, or at the student's home.

I've been taking Piano lessons for the last month from Josh and he has been great at helping me improve my playing and working around my abnormal schedule. Highly recommended if you want a skilled and knowledgeable teacher.

I have been taking piano lessons from Joshua Vigran for about three years now, and he has been an excellent teacher for all of them. I think he strikes a good balance between being friendly and informative, which makes the lessons all the more effective.

Josh is easily the kindest music teacher I've met. He's quick to come up with solutions to the unique kinds of issues an individual can run into when learning an instrument, and his passion for playing piano bleeds into his teaching. For anyone of any age looking for a teacher, look to Josh.

After hearing my 10 year old niece on the piano I decided to take lessons at 40+. I found Joshua who is not only a talented pianist, but an amazing instructor. Joshua incorporates different teaching methods, including demonstrating pieces I would be playing, allowing me to video the piece to replay when i practice, and verbal instructions on how to practice at home.
He's very patient. He breaks things down so it's interesting, and not overwhelming. I started playing basic chords and melodies right away. He also incorporates music theory so there is a deeper understanding of music. I highly recommend him.

When I was looking for a piano teacher in Frank & Camille's,
they said they have Joshua Vigran who is "great" which turned
out to be correct. He is responsible, always returns calls/answers
timely, comes on time, easy to work with & knowledgable.
And has a great personality. I would have continued to take lessons if he had not moved to Texas.
