    I have contracted JC Communications for so many jobs that is hard to describe them all, in fact, not enough room on this site. JC Communications with Janet Clark as the Principal, is by far the best contractor I have hired or worked with in the field of Public Relations, Writing in general, producing videos, writing screen plays, updating and creating web sites and creating marketing collateral material, proofreading (eagle eye she is!), and creative and technical writing. A wonderful experience and never late on deadlines and asks the right questions in order to provide the client with the best product!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to begin with a consultation with my client to ensure I understand the overall scope of the project and my client has a clear understanding of the process going forward.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Masters in Applied Communications from the University of Denver and a BS, Journalism from the University of Colorado Boulder.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Working in corporate communications for a major defense contractor for 18 years, then as Principal, JC Communications, Inc. (est. 2001).
What types of customers have you worked with?
Small, medium and large private companies, a nonprofit, and individuals.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
An Integrated Marketing Communications Plan for the Office of Responsive Space and Infinite Links. Plan development took approximately four months due to the organizational complexity of the task.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Be sure you and the provider understand the scope of the job/s and establish clear channels of communication.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Scope, specific expectations, deliverables and schedule.
