Guitar and Bass Lessons

Introduction: HI there! This is Whitney Rehr! I am a professional musician and music teacher. I have been a professional musician for 30 years and a professional teacher for over 10 years. I specialize in childhood music education and currently work with The Encore After-school program, a number of Denver pre-schools and have worked with Girl's Rock Denver and as a music therapist at Sage Center. Often working with large groups of kids at a time, I prefer one on one, as it allows me to focus on the individual's learning needs. I have been teaching 4-13 year old students how to play guitar, bass, drums and vocals for years and I love it! Kids are the fastest learners and best musicians! I am passionate about all genres of music, whether acoustic or electric and am currently in 3 well known local bands, playing lead guitar, lead and back up vocals and bass. I have also been involved with sound and stage production and am currently establishing a rock academy with Lead Vocalist Amber Saxon of the world-famous Hell's Belles. I have also had the privilege to accompany and support dozens of world-renowned recording artists and performers from the yoga, chant and mantra community. A strength I am proud of is the ability and desire to see everyone's individual potential, unique to their personalities and backgrounds. I aim to help bring that to the forefront for the most successful experience in being a musician! I love bringing out the best in anyone of any age at any level!
