Introduction: As a former professional ballet dancer, I began my approach to yoga from a movement aspect, looking at bones, muscles, fascia and the interaction of all the moving parts. I soon learned that my ability to guide yoga students goes beyond the physical into intuitive energetic awareness. I help students free up stuck energy in the body, which often times appears as a physical injury or illness. Through the practice, energy starts to flow and healing occurs. Overall wellness is the goal. I am trained in vinyasa, flow style, alignment-based yoga and therapeutic Adaptive Yoga practices. I am able to accommodate any level of practice including those living with disability, disease or injury to help students live better in their bodies.
Yoga has changed my life and saved my life time and time again. I enjoy being a conduit for the positive changes the yoga practice brings to others. I enjoy the shared experience I find with my students as we remember that we are all human, all the same, doing the work together.
