Molding or baseboards,
Dan is absolutely incredible- I cannot recommend him highly enough. He is very very responsive on Thumbtack. He is very friendly and professional, and thoroughly answers any questions you may have. His estimates are very fair, considering his experience and expertise in his work. I hired Dan to install a fan light in my room and add some lighting in my closet, which was very dark. When he came to give me an estimate, he was very polite, and spent a long time answering all my questions and concerns. I was unsure how many lights to install and where and he gave me his knowledgeable professional opinion and explained his reasoning. I think the best part of his work is that he was constantly updating me and explaining his process as he worked. In the end, I had a wonderful well-lit closet, completely clean after his work (no dust), and was a very happy customer! Not only is Dan an expert on lighting and electrical and knows what is up to code, but he can do a lot more handyman-type work. I am super excited for my next project as I will definitely be hiring him again!!!Jun 1, 2016Verified

Dan was awesome! He was so detailed during the process of hanging up a 75 pound mirror. The room looks entirely different now! Thanks so much dan!Jul 19, 2017Verified
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? Each quote is specific to the customer, especially when working with those on fixed incomes. I work with my customers to ensure they get the safest and most cost-effective work completed that they need.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I walk through both the project and the estimated budget with the cusomer, to avoid any unexplained costs. I have experience in electrical materials retail as a former electrical department manager with Lowe's, and will share this experience with customers to avoid them paying unreasonable costs. After the costs are presented up front, a labor estimate is then laid out and explained as well.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Dan Robbins over a decade of military electrical experience, in addition to an entire home rewire and gas line install. To date, not a single electrical or gas line job has failed inspection or been delayed due to a failed inspection.
