I will cater events up to 50 people, including buffets, sit down meals, and drop-off catering. I'm happy to do small, personal catering parties with 2-10 people. I'm also most pleased to offer cooking classes to groups in a large kitchen provided by the customer, and can include wine pairing with the food. My cooking is artistic, fresh, fun, and personal-all based on your tastes!

I spent 7 years as a Pastry Chef, and have a passion for helping create the cake or dessert of your dreams!
I particularly love working for people who want a special party and appreciate good food, but don't have the time or inclination to make it. I delight is making extraordinary food that people love, and particularly like to make your favorites. It's wonderful to talk with the host and hear their ideas, and help make suggestions to turn the food and drink into a magical aspect of the party. Lucia was fun and easygoing to work with. The food is good and the cost very reasonable. She made a dish called Chicken Marbella that was sensational! She made her own ice-cream and the dessert was out of this world. I would have her cater for us again.

Lucia is an outstanding chef and should always be on the top of your list of caterers! I have used Lucia's services a few times now and have always been very satisfied. She not only caters but also is an excellent pastry chef.

Lucia has catered for several events, including a dinner party and a book club celebration. Her preparations were delicious and sophisticated without being fussy. She is professional, charming and insightful. I would certainly recommend her for any occasion.

Intimate dinner party and also cocktail gathering. Choices were tasty, crowd-pleasing, generous. Lucia is professional, quick, pleasant and funny. She delivered what was agreed upon and was easy to work with. Menu was to specifications and delivered as needed.

This was my first time having an event catered and I luckily found Lucia through Thumbtack. Christmas dinner was my gift to my family. I arranged for Lucia to make the dinner ahead of time and drop it off at the appointed time on Christmas day. Lucia was easy to work with, planned a lovely Christmas turkey dinner with all the trimmings, and delivered right to our kitchen. The Turkey was tender and perfect, the mashed potatoes were sublime, the sweet potatoes were out of this world, smothered in homemade gravy. The piece de resistance was a chocolate Bouche de Noel for dessert, a work of art as divine dessert! And there was plenty for left overs. The only hitch was the mushroom and corn bread dressing that Lucia made. I had been looking forward to traditional sage flavored stuffing myself but more importantly, one of my guests turns out to be allergic to mushrooms. It was not something we discussed specifically, I just assumed that it would be de rigueur with turkey. It was fine in the end as my niece just avoided the stuffing and the rest of us enjoyed. I take responsibility for this since I was very interested in having Lucia create her own masterpiece. In the future I will be more specific about dishes that I have a particular preference for and I will also check for food allergies among my guests, something I hadn't thought to do.
Overall, everyone was delighted with the dinner as it contributed to an easy and relaxed Christmas dinner. I look forward to hiring Lucia in the future and would recommend her to anyone. She was cheerful, pleasant, creative, prompt, very reasonably priced and generally a dream to work with!
