- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I currently charge $250 for hour long sessions including family portraits, event photography, senior portraits, engagement photos etc. I charge $175 for headshots. For weddings I charge $300/ hour with a four hour minimum. All sessions include free digitals and rights to print.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For weddings I like to meet for coffee and discuss expectations, style, cost, details, and allow you to see if we would be a good match. I mainly communicate through e-mail. I also like to see ideas on Pintrest or connect on Facebook to best meet your needs. For family sessions I usually schedule a time and place to meet, we do some traditional shots and then do something interactive like hike or play at the park to get more of those documentary style photos. - What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a former elementary and preschool teacher so I know how to work with kids and am naturally drawn to their energy. I worked for Lil' Angels Photography which specializes in school portraits. I also photographed several weddings for All Digital Studios and Yellow Paddle. I have taken online and in person photography classes in technique and family documentary photography. I currently work at Mike's Camera as Image Processing Specialist Manager and surround myself with fellow photographers.
