- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Molly has always been immersed in design. She received a Bachelor's Degree in Studio Art from Hamilton College and completed Post Graduate work at UC Santa Barbara in Graphic Design and Visual Communication. Her clean aesthetic, impeccable design sense and genuine, collaborative nature led to a successful 15-year career as a respected designer and creative director. Today Molly is a design partner at Layers + Lines, a wife and a mom to two sweet little ones. She has a special thing going with mid-century design -- a passion for the lines and vibes of another time. Molly brings talent, warmth, style and grace to every project she touches. You'll know it when she walks in the door. Kim's love for design started at about the same time as her obsession with travel. After graduating from University of Arizona with a Marketing degree, Kim spent the next 25 years building brands and leading creative design for products from television networks to mutual funds. This work took her to incredible places around the world that shaped her design sensibilities forever: New York, Hong Kong, India, London, Paris, Singapore, Thailand and Mexico are favorite inspirations. Today Kim is a design partner at Layers + Lines, a wife and a mom to two super cool kids. Working with many clients over the years, from all walks of life -- each with their own creative aspirations -- has made Kim a true collaborator, optimist and lover of good ideas. She really believes they can come from anyone. From anywhere.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
We met ten years ago building brands at a big financial company. It took about two minutes for us to click as friends and creative partners and not much longer to discover our mutual love for interior design, fashion, art and family.
