Personally, I feel lucky to have found and selected Allyson as a piano teacher. Starting as a self-taught pianist, it is baffling to think how much I have learned. In a short time with her, my reading skills vastly developed, I am comfortable with music theory, and I continually leave lessons feeling refreshed and determined to keep improving. All credit to Allyson for this, she has been phenomenal with teaching me all the introductory material, but never shy's away from assisting and advising with personal pieces that I would like to learn about - however overzealous my aspirations may be. Although my situation may be slightly different than the norm, it is with no hesitation that I highly recommend Allyson to both children and adults, no matter their skill level. Allyson is highly adaptable in teaching and creates a fun and great learning environment. The cherry on top: she is an amazing player and just got an awesome new piano! Happy learning!

I have studied piano on and off for 60 years. Never has it been as much fun and as profound as it is with Allyson. She is so positive and her knowledge is deep. She makes it physically and emotionally comfortable for me (I have a hand issue) and I progress and grow every lesson. She is the BEST!!!
