Calee's Music Studio
2018 Top Pro
About this pro
With her studio residing within Denver Music Institute, you become a part of a community of musicians when you join Calee's Music Studio. Not only do you receive private lessons, but you can also participate in Open Mic Nights, bands, workshops, and more! Learn how to practice, perform, and even record your end products. We can take these routes on voice, piano, or a mix of the two - I can even throw in a little guitar knowledge along the way as well :) Contact Calee (Kay-lee) today to sign up! The best part of teaching private lessons is working with people from all walks of life. Every single student is unique, and music is a fantastic form of expressing that individuality. Not one lesson is conducted in the same manner as the next, which allows for each day to be a new creative adventure :)
Customers rated this pro highly for punctuality, value, and professionalism.

My daughter has only had two lessons, but seems to really enjoy them so far. I appreciate Calee's follow up, clear communication, enthusiasm and flexibility with times to choose from.Nov 30, 2017Verified

- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Over the last 20 years, I have studied various instruments including piano, voice, guitar, marching bass drum, trumpet, baritone, and tuba. Through my first years of college, I studied classical voice performance and eventually switched to earning a degree in Professional Music. With this came all the tools I need to make it in the professional world of music - writing, arranging, and recording; piano and vocal skills in jazz, classical, and pop; leading rehearsals like a pro; and most importantly, learning how to work hard. After college, I was fortunate enough to be invited back to teach at The School for Music Vocations where I taught a variety of courses including music theory, recording studio, touring vocal jazz ensembles, concert choir, as well as private lessons in jazz voice, classical voice, and classical piano. In 2017 I moved from small-town Iowa to Denver to open a private lesson studio and pursue various performance opportunities. Currently, I teach voice and piano lessons to students from all walks of life in a variety of curriculums.
