FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Your satisfaction is very important to me, for any project or job I take on, you don't pay me until I've finished and you are completely satisfied with the workmanship.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For new customers and jobs, I like to get as much information about the project as I can. My preference is to give the customer a fixed price for the work that is going to be done. I feel that a fixed price gives my clients the comfort of knowing exactly what they are going to pay for the job. Additionally, although I'm not a slow worker, many handymen make an effort to work rapidly through a job, where I tend to be more meticulous and sometimes in an hourly rate situation is can seem like I'm taking advantage. So, when I do ask for more details I'm just trying to get you a competitive firm price.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I grew up with an exceptionally handy grandfather, he could fix anything, he is my greatest role model. He taught me how to make furniture, fix just about anything and most importantly to be kind and gentle. I started fixing things and doing home improvements around my parents’ house when I was in my teens. I have always enjoyed fixing, and building things, as well as doing home improvements. The job is not done until every detail has been tended to. It’s not surprising that I ended up doing work like this.
