FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I usually like to spend a little time just getting to know a person and their motivations, likes and dislikes, then base learning off of a realistic and appropriately challenging goal list. It's always good to have a positive relationship and it helps find avenues where learning is easier, more fun, and more rewarding.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been playing saxophone for 18 years. I've been gigging for 11 years and studied music at MSUDenver.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My passion for music started well before school band was an option. I always listened to many genres and recordings, memorized lyrics, and analyzed song structures often. The more complex the better. As I started to imagine what my impact on this world should be, I contemplated the medical field as an option. So I found myself majoring in Biology as I aimed at a profession in microbiology and took an internship at Corgenix developing diagnostic test kits. Although I had a passion for both music and microbiology, music prevailed.
