Natalie is a bright light and such a pleasure to work with. From the first moment, she gave her undivided attention to listen and hear what my design needs were, and she has a way of making you feel special with every single detail, no matter how big or small. Not only did we accomplish what I was hoping for, but she exceeded my expectations with her creative ideas that added to what I had envisioned. She is incredibly talented and highly professional. I love my space and am so grateful that I found her. I would highly recommend hiring her - you will not be disappointed.

We have a great room that I find very difficult to section and decorate. I was thrilled to find Natalie as she was able to help really define and simplify the room. I love that she used much of what we already had, but also added just he right details to make the room feel cozy and inviting. She offered many great ideas and options, both in person and online, never making me feel awkward when I didn't like something she suggested. I have already recommended Natalie to a friend. I would encourage anyone to work with her to just "freshen up" a room or even if starting from scratch.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I am happy to do a one hour consult prior to any hourly fees. I charge $65 per hour and have the client sign a contract prior to invoicing hours. Based on the project, we will discuss during the consult estimated hours involved in the process as well as expectations, budget and time frame. Following a signed contract a deposit of $180 for initial work and mood boards will be due. Beyond deposit, client will be invoiced monthly for any hours not covered by the deposit.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I like to begin the process by having a conversation and getting to know the client a bit. What prompted the changes they are making? Who lives in the home? What do they want to feel when the spend time in the space? How do they use the space? What are their routines in the space? I also think it is important to learn about what they like to do in their free time, what they do for work, what they value at home, and what elements of life they'd like to be reminded of when spending time in their newly designed space. Once we get to know each other a bit and have a contract in place, I get to work on mood boards for the client to get a visual feel of the proposed design. We can either schedule meetings or work via email and phone. We dance a bit on the design (listening to client) until the design is speaking directly to the client's vision! We implement on a per project basis. Some clients only want mood boards and links to purchase. Some clients want me to handle purchasing and shipping. I am always happy to help with styling and installation on an hourly basis! Ultimately, we communicate and enjoy the process until the client is satisfied with the end result!
