Tess was awesome getting us connected with Addesha for twice weekly in-home trumpet lessons for our son this summer as he prepared for college marching band in the Fall. Addesha had played in her college’s marching band so she knew exactly how to help, and she is such a natural teacher and down-to-earth person that our shy boy was instantly comfortable and at ease with her from the moment they met. If you are looking for a guitar instructor that is personable, approachable, intelligent, patient, adaptable to the needs of the learner, and a generally phenomenal teacher in every way? Well, your goals might be a tad lofty, but somehow that person does exist and his name is Scott. I had a rough journey when I started learning guitar, hopping from instructor to instructor, not really making a tangible connection to the material through how it was being presented to me. Then we landed on Scott, and I could not have been more thankful. While many of the instructors I had worked with prior were good guitar players, they were not remarkable teachers for my needs. Scott, however, knew exactly how to present the material in a way that made sense to absorb. Scott knows the importance of building the fundamentals and ensured that it was presented in an approachable and understandable way. If you want to learn guitar, Scott is not just who you want, he is who you need. I will forever be grateful that I could have Scott as my instructor and the effect he has had on me will continue to ripple throughout my musical journey for the rest of my life. Traveling Music Lessons offers three lesson lengths: 30 minutes, 45 minutes and 60 minutes. A 30 minute lesson is $45, a 45 minute lesson is $60, and a 60 minute lesson is $75. Discounts apply to online lessons!
