FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge by the job for my personal clients. I do not have set pricing but I know what a job should cost. If the job takes longer than what is expected, I do not charge the client more. It happens sometimes when working with technology.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A customer will contact me and let me know what technical issues they are experiencing. I typically know exactly what is happening after they complete a few sentences but it's important for me to be a good listener. After hearing what the customer is experiencing I give them my understanding of what is actually happening and what steps I will go through to resolve it. It's important to explain to the customer what is happening in non-geek terms. Their computer and data is important to them.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelors degree in Information Systems Management from Buffalo State and nearly 30 years experience working as a Network Administrator.
