FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing is still the old fashioned time and material way. The clock starts once were on our way and stops when we're finished with the job. We do charge a 1hr minimum but if we fix the problem in under 1hr, we will most certainly inspect or repair any other issues you may have to ensure were there for the full hour and so you get your money's worth! The only fee we charge is $35.00 for disposal of old water heaters or appliances. We are currently in the process of converting our pricing to the more efficient, modern day “Up Front” or “Flat Rate” style of pricing.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Depends on the job. If it’s service work (ie. faucet, toilet, tub/shower repair, water heater, drain leaks, garbage disposal, sump pumps, etc.) then the process is the same as it is for current customers. Payment due upon completion & as always 90 day parts/30 day labor warranty. New construction, remodel, or bid jobs over $1,000.00 we require 10% of the entire amount for the job up front (down payment) which is typically just enough to cover the material. All new construction jobs come with a 1 year parts and labor warranty.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 14+ years of experience in the trade and have been a licensed Journeyman for 8 years and a Master for 6 years.
