FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I am willing to work with a small budget as well as large. One piece at a time is a great way to get started. $250 can start you on your way. A $1M budget is not too large for us to accommodate.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Have a discussion regarding budget, style and investment needs. Provide a Questionnaire for honing in on customer's desires for the project. So many people look at the rich and famous homes and do not realize that the rich and famous invest in quality sound items for their homes. You would not realize how many antiques are in the homes of the rich, famous, professionals such as doctors, lawyers, architects and the list goes on. Most people look at antiques as something that is not attractive but I have found antiques that have a modern look to them as well as aged refinement. The photos on this website are of various decorated rooms designed by other decorators in magazines and online (the photos depict, as a decorator, what I am capable of achieving in the customer's residence and closely mimics the modern look with antiques.) There are many old antiques that look and are absolutely beautiful and original. Antiques are affordable investments.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have always love design. I am an artist. I was told I was a natural decorator by an Antique & Fine Art Dealer. I feel in love with antiques in a ways that I did not think I would. I asked if the dealer would mentor me and now I am reaching out to educated and beautify properties with the Dealer's help to build my decorating investment business. Also, I was a former Real Estate Salesperson in New York. This experience helped me to understand staging and what attracts a buyers to purchase properties or homes.
