- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to reach out via Zoom meeting, an excellent free service with top-quality audio and video communication that allows for screen sharing of either my computer, or the potential client's. It's almost as good as a meeting in person, and it gives me an opportunity to assess your situation. We can make initial contact either by phone or email, after which I can email you a simple link to click to get started with our initial conference, or of course I'm always happy to use the phone as well.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have the bachelor's level education required of CPA candidates in the State of Colorado up until the end of 2015, including over 20 credits each of accounting and business management. I have worked in insurance accounting and premium audit while obtaining the IRS Registered Tax Return Preparer certification in December 2012, and managed a Jackson Hewitt franchise in Colorado Springs during tax season 2014. I am a QuickBooks Online Advanced Certified ProAdvisor. Though I am also certified in Xero I do specialize, and have all my current bookkeeping clients, in QuickBooks Online.
