FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with a new customers I let them know that I can be as involved as they would like me to be. I will meet with them at their home if they like, Skype, or phone conferences to make it easy on them. I'm always a call or email away with any suggestions, ideas, or even last minute changes. I make sure I give them more then just a DJ playing music at the party.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Music has always been my interest. Even before I decided to be a DJ , the music selection at a party was always important to me. I was taught to DJ at the age of 13. Began Djing professionally at 16. From family, friends, & school events to then later transitioning into the club scene, mean while still taking private gigs (sweet 16s, Quinceneras, & proms ). After high school, I attended I.a.r. (Institute of audio research) in New York City in 2006. Most of my gigs and still do come from references. In 2009 I was part of a 40 city tour as a tour DJ with Pitbull. Later on opening up for acts like LMFAO, Baby Bash, & Djing festivals like Calle Ocho in Miami. Taking my experience through these blessing in my life I had the opportunity to DJ in front of my different walks of life which helps me understand a crowd. Now for the past 6 years I have dedicated on focusing on my mobile business.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started in 2006 with my friend now Emcee, Eli. He was Djing private gigs and saw my talent through my older brother then invited me to work a batmitzvah & since then we've been working ever since. Through him I have had the chance to meet other event coordinators who lacked Dj talent which allowed me to grow as a freelance DJ. I now still work with multiple companies along with my own personal relationships.
