Introduction: My experience isn't just in one style. I finds beauty in everything I captures, anything from a simple item on a table top to the most important day of your life, I make sure none of its essence is lost. What makes me even more unique is my ability to transform my style into that of the client. I wants to freeze that moment in time as if you were the one capturing it from behind the lens, making it more of a memory than a photo. I continue to hone my skill and knowledge as a photographer and takes on any project I can regardless of size. To me, nothing is too small when it comes to the vision of others. Since I was a kid I always had some sort of camera in my hand. I've always been a visual person and see the world as an infinite canvas. I find I'm the happiest when I'm behind the lens and I know this is what I want to do.

We use Kraken Imaging for all of our promo shoots for our show. Kim always shows up on time, and takes the time needed to talk over what we're looking for. We've shot both indoors and outdoors and had great results. We typically come with an idea and Kraken Imaging always elevates it.

My fiancé and I first worked with Kimberly Parker at Kraken Imaging in late 2015. We wanted to create a Star Wars themed Christmas card but were overwhelmed by the process of how to do it. Luckily, we found Kim and she went above and beyond. She is extremely professional, thoughtful and very enthusiastic (even when faced with a fairly odd request). She was able to envision the shots before setting poses which saved so much time and effort. Kim even wrangled a young dog and two very uninterested cats. When we ended she had taken pictures against a green screen and let us know she would get back to us shortly with the final product. It was beyond our wildest dreams. We love showing the photo off to everyone. When it came time to book a wedding photographer there was no question in our minds. We had to have Kim. She has an amazing artistic eye that will allow her to capture our special day in a way no one else could. We decided to book an engagement shoot shortly after our engagement and wanted to go big again and Kim accepted the challenge. We gave her the rundown of our idea and she went to work scoping out locations and researching techniques. Unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate but she had a back-up plan and the shoot was executed quickly and easily. She had already come up with posing ideas that would work with the theme. We left knowing that the pictures would be amazing but we didn't have any idea just how spectacular the pictures would turn out. We were speechless. I know our save the date pictures will be top notch and our wedding photos will be amazing. I would recommend Kim and her team for any of your photographic needs. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Depending on the type of service I'm needed for. With Weddings/events I tend to have set price laid out in tiers.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to set up a time and day to meet with them face to face over some coffee/tea. During this process I discuss and provide a contract and lay out the timeline for everything. A week before the decided date, I touch base and see if there is any changes.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I went to school for graphic design and multimedia and have been creating visual art since I was a kid.
