Scott was absolutely amazing! I hired a different contractor that destroyed my home (literal rain in my living room) and Scott came in and saved it. He was able to repair the damage as well as do what was wanted in the first place. He talked me through everything that was needed, explained all the costs, and helped me navigate the permits. He always gave me receipts for materials and invoices for labor. He was always available when I had questions. As long as he is working, I will never hire anyone else to work on my home; he's literally the best! I would recommend Duvall Construction for any job that you need: he's honest and fair and does amazing work!

I would use Scott and Paul again for carpentry, electrical & drywall. Scott took our sketches and made them a reality. It was so great to work with Scott. He was so kind, knowledgeable, and responsive. He built a beautiful porch and stairs in just 2 days. He gave advice on what the best materials are and made sure the steps were a good size and safe for my children. He also made sure that the corners were rounded so they wouldn’t get hurt. I can finally feel safe about myself and my family going down these steps. I would absolutely hire him again. :)

Scott and his crew were wonderful to work with! They were professional, polite and always on time! He kept us updated on the progress of our project, made certain the little details which made the deck special were met. And when he left each day the yard and project area was cleaned up and safe for our family to still enjoy on the weekends. We would and will recommend him for future projects!

We hired Scott to repair our shed. He had solutions for problems when other handymen had no idea what to do. As he started to tear into things, they turned out to be more complicated than expected. There was no way he could have known. He refused to let us pay extra for the increased labor, and we wanted to. His attention to detail was amazing and he did a fantastic job. Feel so lucky that we hired him.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is fair and I don’t get rich by no means. And it took me 30 years to learn and know what it takes to do a job correctly. So as far as discounts there is none. I have had no complaints about my pricing once I have completed a job.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First I reply, second I always go look at what they want and always meet with them. That way we can go over different options if needed. Then I send over a bid and go from there.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
On the job training. Life of get it done and done right and hurry up. And if it is done wrong you fix it for free. That’s my training.
