Introduction: I've been studying photography at a University for the past 6 years, but have been shooting for almost 10. I have lots of experience will all sorts of clients. I've worked with chef's, mothers, families, big and small businesses, art historians. I've done weddings, been backstage at fashion week, and been the Director of Photography for 3 shoots involving 15+ models and a team of 30+ HMUA's. I'm the Skills USA 2016 National Champion in Photography. I love a good challenge and I love making things interestingly beautiful. I love collaborating with clients. I'm not a show up, shoot, and leave kind of girl. My job is to highlight your strengths, not click a button. This is far beyond a hobby for me, this is my career. I take what I do very seriously, and am dedicated to providing an amazing experience, as well as killer imagery. I am a creative, detail oriented, fun, easy to work with, driven photographer. I love working hard, and reaping the benefits with beautiful imagery. I love the entire process of photography. I enjoy the brainstorming, planning, and execution of photo shoots. I obviously love using my camera, but the atmosphere at my shoots are cool, fun, and open. I pride myself in my editing abilities, and enjoy my time working in Photoshop. But most of all, I love the reaction of my clients when they see what WE have created.

Savanah is seriously the best! She is so intricate when it comes to taking photos! She has such a energetic personality that you can't help but leave her presence with a good feeling! Savvy is so talented and will make sure you fall in love with your photos! She specializes in fashion photography and is amazing. But she also has the talent of videography. She did my engagement, wedding and 1 year anniversary! I've known savannah for several years and she is always the first person I go to when I want photos! I promise you won't be disappointed!!

Sav did an awesome job with my bridals! You could tell she really took her time editing them. When she took the photos she made me laugh and made it so it was a good time. I will never let anyone else take mine or my family's pictures!

Savvy did my bridals. I'd seen Savvy's work and knew she was incredibly talented, but as soon as we started the shoot I was also impressed by how easy she is to work with! Never have I had so much fun taking pictures. She has an eye for what will look good, but she's careful to not force her ideas on you. She waits to see what is natural for you and then works with that! I couldn't be happier with the final product. I'd hire Savvy again in a heartbeat!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 10 years of photography experience. I have two Degrees in Art and will be finishing my Photography BFA in December 2017. I have worked with photographers in NYC, Rhode Island, LA, and SLC. I have assisted for the top wedding photographers in SLC, worked with Emily Soto (Fashion Photographer), and was the Director of Photography for 3 major shoots. I am also the Skills USA 2016 National Champion in Photography.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have a weird passion for light! My siblings always hated when I went to the movies with them, because half the time I'd be saying "wow, look at that light.." or "I bet they lit that scene like this.." etc. My husband finds it hilarious, but finally I found someone who supports my obsession with light!
