What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
•Henna Tattoo – Party or Social Events : $50 an hour (3-hour minimum, 6-hour maximum) •Henna Tattoo – Jagua Black Gel Ink: $25 fee •Henna and Hookah Special: $45 half arm includes a hookah for the duration of your 45-minute session •Henna Tattoo – White or Gold : available for a $15 charge •Mobile Henna: $15 for 15 miles or less; $20 for 35 miles or less
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started by simply getting henna from a woman named Naima. She is a professional henna artist that does my henna. Naima is also my mentor. One day I asked if I could purchase a henna cone to practice on myself. I did a design and she immediately praised my work. She said that my talent level took her several years to reach and that I had a natural gift. I practiced on friends and family until eventually, people wanted to purchase my services. Today, I have my Yo Henna Girl brand and I am officially a certified international henna artist.
