FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated with honors in Photography from the Rochester Institute of Technology (I minored in Communications, so I speak your PR language). Over the past twenty years, I've worked with amazing PR professionals, and use what I've learned to help all my clients come up with amazing photo projects that match their goals and branding.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
We've worked with some of the most successful colleges and medical centers in the country, including the Duke University School of Nursing, School of Medicine and Publications, as well as the University of Rochester, RIT. I've photographed professional theatre for over 22 seasons with the largest producing theatre in NY (outside of Manhattan of course) Geva Theatre Center as well as the 2nd largest theatre in the US, the Durham Performing Arts Center (DPAC). And I'm proud to now be working with the Carolina Theatre in Durham NC. National clients like JP Morgan and the Wegmans corporation hire me to work regionally and we fly to cities like Chicago and Boston to cover the JP Morgan Corporate Challenge (the race photography as well as the specific photos the bank needs).
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
My Designer and PR clients keep commenting on how we stand out compared to other photographers they work with by being so 'fast & flexible'. Nothing's worse to them than a photo shoot that takes forever, or a photographer that can't roll with changes. The PR head for the Golisano Children's Hospital said, "We love Ken's photos! It's rare to find a photographer who can be so flexible... relating as well to a toddler as to a neurosurgeon"
