FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $40/hour if attending one session per week and $30/hour if attending more than one session per week. I work to schedule make ups when needed and understand there are things scheduled or that come up. I ask to give at least a 2 day notice. If canceling/no show the day of your session, a make up must be scheduled or 1/2 the session fee is due.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I usually start with a phone call or email gathering some basic information of what the customer is looking to be accomplished in our sessions. I also do a free, first time, 30 minute meet and greet session to have me meet parents and/or the child. This allows me to introduce myself in person and share the materials and space we would work in during the sessions. Once we both feel it would be beneficial to move forward with sessions, we would discuss a consistent day/time that would work moving forward. Throughout sessions I will provide verbal feedback, data collected through formal and informal assessments, and work samples. If desired, I also can provide extra practice for at home.
