- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Wedding cake pricing is per slice at $5/slice for buttercream cakes. Fondant cakes start at $6/slice.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I ask customers to give me some basic info about their upcoming wedding (date, number of guests, location). We then set up a time to discuss their order and schedule a tasting. We then discuss cake flavors, decoration, and go over the contract.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked in several high end bakeries in the Triangle area and have gained over 10+ years of decorating experience. Although I have no formal training, I consider my degree in art education to be very useful in the creative design process that goes into wedding cake orders.
