Greg and his crew made this process a breeze and it came out looking exactly as we pictured. His timing was spot on and the crew was tidy. I would highly recommend using Newton Carpenters for your next remodel.Nov 5, 2017Verified
Greg is efficient, punctual, clean and effective. My deck stairs were rotting. In one day I have new outdoor stairs that are safe and look great too!! I will use him again soon for more home projects and would highly recommend him!Oct 19, 2017Verified

- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I am lead safe certified, Osha 10 safe certified and have over twenty years of experience.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I grew up in a home that my father put a huge addition on and completely remodeled. I was using nail guns and plywood to construct my own projects while other kids my age where still clueless such things even existed. By the time I was thirteen I was already being hired by neighbors and friends of the family to do small home repairs. I was hired as a sub-contract carpenter before I was out of high school and after graduation I went to work full-time building log homes. From there I did a few years in a custom cabinet and furniture shop, a few more years doing just trim, a year doing hardwood floors, a year doing siding windows/doors and the rest is history.
- What types of customers have you worked with?I've worked with many different customers from all walks of life and financial background on projects that consisted of replacing one rotten board, to projects that left the home doubled in size.
