FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
In dealing with budgets, I try to accommodate my customers as much as I can. I feel that my prices are very reasonable. I like to look at it from my own standpoint, "would I want to pay these prices?" I give the customers a breakdown of costs and what scope of work is included. I also like to give alternate options to reduce costs (i.e. using pine vs. oak or reusing certain materials that are in good condition vs. purchasing all new). To verify my project cost is accurate, I use a program that takes the national average for the particular scope of work.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to visit with the customer and understand what they are looking for. I take measurements and photographs and really understand their wants and needs. From there, I put together a quote which shows them what each specific scope of work entails and the prices that go along with it.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Bachelor's in construction management, 10 years of experience with top 20 major construction companies in the country, OSHA 10 and 30 hour trained
